The following shelving unit was created by combining a coat rack with double shelf, with one 36" single shelf.  In this case, the length of the support rod on the single shelf is 5" shorter than the support rods on the double coat rack.  Once the unit is combined, the user will have one spare support rod from the single shelf.  This will allow the user to potentially separate them into two independent units, if they ever need to be rearranged.  Lights may also be added to the systems as shown below.  This system can also be created without a coat rack by simply ordering a standard double shelf.
